There is a fairly reliable method in identifying things. It consists of three fundamental questions which would reveal more about our daily life than we may be aware of.
_What is this?
_What does this mean?
_What is it for?

These questions may look trivial at first glance. But as basic tools, in our minds and hearts, the threefold question method works. It can aid as we rethink daily issues, objectives and worries in our lives.
For example:
_Television
_extreme shopping
_internet
_Luxury
_(fill in with what’s on your mind)

There are other items too:
_envy
_resentment
_vengeance
_gossip
?

We could handle many of these by just using the first two questions. But then, there is the third question. Many of these things do not really benefit us. These things cause a traffic jam in our hearts which blocks our spiritual veins to what is essential and important in life.

That’s why sometimes we overlook God’s presence in our lives. We get so deep in our hectic routine that we forget the answers. We also get sidetracked on a road to forget who God is, what He is for and whose we are.

Still, the Bible shows us the Person to whom we have perfect answers in all three questions.
Who is? Jesus!
What does this mean? The son of God
What is He for – Forgiveness, life, salvation.

He puts our life in the correct perspective. By faith he invites us to make more use of the things that go well in the three questions.
_faith
_compreehension
_help others
_discipline
_knowledge;
_love
_(fill in with what’s on your mind)

This is what our Three-In-One God shows as the fruits of His love. This love resides in our hearts and minds so that we live with more of the good and right answers to the question, "what is it for." Then we spend less wasted time on worthless things.

Because He is the One who fullfills perfectly not only these three questions.

He fullfills all of our being.
